BigPay charges currency conversion fees up to 1% for your foreign transactions or payment made via the BigPay Visa with the merchant. This fee applies to any physical and online payment transaction with currency in non-MYR.
For a BigPay Visa cardholder:
Search for Visa exchange rate calculator on a web browser and input 1% on the Bank Fee box.
After inputting the currency accordingly, you shall obtain the exchange rate for your reference.
We hope this clarifies, and rest assured that you will never be charged more than what you see in the calculator as long as the transaction is completed in the non-MYR denomination.
P.s: Network charges is part of the foreign transaction fee charged by the card network, Visa. Regardless of the card type, this fee is applied to all non-MYR transactions. Be assured that the exchange rate provided on the Visa portal already includes their network charge.
