We'd like to let you know that even if you do not use your BigPay account, there are absolutely no fees at all to maintain the account. It's completely free! 🙏
Here are some other features of BigPay to look through before deciding to cancel your account:
1) If you're planning to travel abroad, you'll save lots of money on exchange rates and buying AirAsia flights as we've got a very competitive rate.
2) You can freeze and unfreeze your card, anytime, to make sure your account is safe and secure.
3) We offer exclusive deals and promotions for our BigPay users - be sure to look at our "Rewards" tab in Settings.
4) We always have an ongoing RM5 referral program, where if you refer your friends with your referral code, you will get RM5 in your BigPay account, and your friend will get RM5 cashback in their account!
If you still want to cancel the account, we'd be sad to see you go. 😔 Kindly complete the following checklist to ensure that your account is ready to be cancelled:
1. Have you completed the loan repayment (if any)?
2. Have you transferred your Stashes balance (if any)?
3. Have you transferred your account balance to your bank account via DuitNow?
Once you have completed the checklist above, kindly chat with us by tapping the circle on the top left of 'Home'> Get Help> Chat with us, and we are ready to assist you further in cancelling your account.
P.S.: After the cancellation request is completed, you will still be able to log in to access past transaction history. However, you will not be able to perform any top-ups or transactions in the closed account.
Please be informed that your details will be retained in our archived database as we are required by all our regulators to hold information for a period of 6-7 years as we are guided by the financial laws of Malaysia. For more info, kindly refer to our Terms and Conditions.
