All DuitNow transfers should be processed or received by the recipient instantly.
If you have noticed your DuitNow transfer has the following scenarios:
- Recipient mentioned that they have not received the transfer amount
- The amount has been deducted in your BigPay account
- The transfer status in your app is with "Pending"
This would usually be referring to a time-out between BigPay to the recipient's bank/e-wallet when the transfer was initiated.
No worries, the transaction will still be processed in the best effort between BigPay and the recipient's bank/e-wallet. You should be receiving an update in the BigPay app on the next working day for the status to be updated to either be:
- Accepted - The bank has received the transfer and to proceed with the crediting to the recipient
- Rejected - The amount is refunded and credited back into your BigPay account.
