Your BigPay account is now enabled with Cross border QR transfer feature!
Now, you can spend abroad in China by using the BigPay app to scan a merchants’ QR codes, as a faster and more seamless way to pay.
Look out for 'QR codes by Alipay or Alipay+' in China and here’s the A-Z to perform a transaction with the merchant or recipient:
Step 1: Login to your BigPay account and tap on Explore> Select “DuitNow QR”.
Step 2: Kindly use the app QR scanner and scan the merchant’s Alipay or Alipay+ code they have displayed.
Step 3: Once the QR code is detected, kindly key in the amount of the transaction and tap ‘Pay’.
P.s.: You will also be shown with the exchange rate used for this transaction:
Take note that the exchange rate is subjected to possible change in every 60 seconds.
Step 4: Further proceed with keying in the 6 digit app passcode or authorize the payment using biometrics such as Face ID or Fingerprint.
Step 5: Once the transaction is completed, you will receive the receipt with “DuitNow QR successful” indicated and the merchant should have received your payment.
